Rady Children's Physician ManagementServices(RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties. Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Associate provides back up support for accounting and payroll administration. The position provides clerical support to the department as needed. Responsibilities: • Accounts payable tasks • Verify expenditures and credits with statements of accounts • Monitors approvals and coding of invoices • Expense allocation to multiple sites • Reconciliation of fixed asset activity, including disposal and addition of new assets • Participate in monthly and annual financial closes by completing all assigned projects and tasks as needed and on schedule • Trained to process scheduled payroll runs as a back up • Trained to generate manual checks if necessary • Support and assist the accounting team with clerical functions including but not limited to: filing, data entry, information research, Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or business preferred • Minimum of one year experience providing accounting support.
