Unique Skills:

• Understanding of the AR & AP Process.
• Experience with the Intercompany accounting process.
• Experience preparing and posting Journal entries.
• Experience preparing account reconciliations.
• Advanced excel skill required.
• Experience with variance analysis preferred.
• Detail oriented and highly organized team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of large ERP systems preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree General Business, Accounting or Finance required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry level. Proficient in the use of MS applications, principally Excel is required

Position Purpose:

Applies principles of cost accounting with a primary focus on administrative duties and basic analysis of cost accounting and inventory accounting. Provides support to maintain a complete and accurate general ledger.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for closing .
2. Reconcile assigned accounts including preparation of appropriate documentation .
3. Prepares schedules, reports, presentations, etc. for management .
4. Under immediate supervision, follows established procedures to perform tasks that are routine in nature, requiring little evaluation, originality, or ingenuity.
5. Perform routine processing, either automated or manual, as required, of financial transactions
6. Specific area of responsibility .
7. Applies principles of cost accounting with a primary focus on administrative duties and basic analysis of cost accounting and inventory accounting.

Perform other duties as assigned.

A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
