NOTE: This role is required to be hybrid and on-site, per business needs, at our GuideWell Corporate office (4800 Deerwood Campus Parkway, Jacksonville, FL) with a weekly on-site attendance needed.
Job Purpose
This Accounting Associate II role resides in Corporate Finance Payables and is responsible for accounting related functions for medical and trade payables. Additionally, this hands-on role will handle daily operational incoming and outgoing mail, and inquiries. This team member interacts with banks, providers, and subsidiaries on banking activities, unclaimed and returned checks generated from claims and accounts payable systems.
What You Will Be Doing:• Handles daily incoming and outgoing mail, and inquiries.• Research returned or unclaimed checks generated from claims and account payables systems, and performs void, stop or reissue of checks. • Serves as a backup for bank validations.• The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
What You Must Have:
2+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education to include related experience in a corporate fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED
What We Would Prefer:
Experience working with a multi-system claims processing system such as Diamond and Oracle PeopleSoft.
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $39,300 - $44,000
Annualized Salary Range: $39,300- $63,800
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
