What We're Looking For

Our Accounting Team is looking to hire a stand out team member who likes working in a fast pace high energy environment. This person should have a solid understanding of the loan life cycle and accounting for loans.  If you are someone who is passionate about Accounting and interested in accelerating your career, please apply!

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliation and validation procedures over loan accounting, including calculation of interest income/expense, recognition of fees, charge offs, and analytical yield reviews.
• Liaise with business units and other departments in implementing accounting controls around new and existing products.
• Monitor and analyze large amounts of loan data.
• Ensure proper accounting methods, policies and principles are applied.
• Lead projects including automation to improve month-end processes and reporting, analysis of income and expenses, implementing best practices.
• Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
• Work with internal and external auditors in the completion of annual audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in either a public accounting firm or in a private  company.
• Experience in Banking or Fintech Industry a plus.
• Understanding of loan accounting a plus.
• CPA is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
