Ag Processing Inc (AGP®) is currently seeking an Accounting Associate/Senior Accounting Associate to join our team in Omaha! The person in this critical role will be responsible for invoicing and other accounting functions to support soy, refined oil, and renewable fuels groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and gather daily invoicing information utilizing Excel in partnership with merchandisers.
  • Schedule and invoice daily shipments.
  • Prepare daily balance sheets by resolving discrepancies with plants.
  • Enter and reconcile new contracts written from merchandisers.
  • Approve and reconcile freight and brokerage expenses.
  • Communicate with management, co-workers, customers, and outside business contacts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred along with previous accounting and general clerical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting and general clerical experience required for Senior title.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, terminology, and mathematical principals.
  • Strong computer skills using Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with management, merchandisers, and co-workers.
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, planning, and organization skills.
