Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the 436FSS/FSR - NAF Accounting Office on Dover AFB.
This position is considered Regular Part-Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular Part-Time employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and sign up for benefits to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and knowledge of procedures used to enter, modify, retrieve and delete information in an automated general ledger system: and the ability to analyze the interrelationship of accounts that are affected by varied transactions. Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve discrepancies required. Basic computer skills using Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel required. Knowledge of NAF Payroll systems (SETS) preferred
