Accounting Clerk

F&G is hiring Accounting Clerk. This is an entry level administrative position within the Tax Department primarily responsible for assisting with tax accounting and compliance. The individual will be responsible for preparation of federal and state withholding tax filings.  This individual will also assist with all aspects of tax reporting and compliance under the supervision of the Tax Reporting Supervisor. 

Responsibilities

• Preparation of federal and state withholding tax deposits to include running daily reports, and preparing payments. 
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual state withholding returns.
• User Administration in Onesource Tax Information Reporting software for third party administrator(s) user changes.
• Maintain Product Tax mailboxes and calendar of due dates.
• Assist with administrative processing of tax filings and payments for the department as needed.
• Assist with cash journal entries for all tax payments for the Department.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years executive assistant experience required
• Financial Services experience preferred
• Tax or accounting experience a plus
