Accounting Consultant- Transaction and Advisory (Remote)

Atlantix Partners LLC is an established business consultancy delivering integrated advisory services to middle market companies. We assist companies in achieving their business objectives by assisting with transforming processes, managing change, and mitigating risk. Since 2000, our firm has been a trusted partner to hundreds of companies across multiple industry sectors including their domestic and international subsidiaries, boards of directors, investors, and lenders.

Due to business growth, we are seeking someone with strong QoE subject matter expertise to lead client engagements. The ideal candidate has QoE expertise with an audit background. They also bring to table other skills-sets and want to expand their experience/interest outside of QoE such as Financial Planning and Analysis or post-merger projects.

Essential job functions:

• Buy & sell side due diligence.
• Work closely with the deal team.
• Financial statement reviews.
• Quality of earnings reporting.
• Transactions diligence.

Depending on individual interest and experience:

• Post Merger Work that may involve process changes, implementations, integrations.
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Sec and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Graduate degree and CPA preferred.
• Audit background is required (3 years or more)
• QoE experience with approximately 25 full transactions or more; preferably smaller transactions under $400 million.
• Preferably experience working on client engagements within a wide variety of industry verticals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 10-30% as needed in USA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
• Microsoft Office experience, preferred advance Excel skills
