This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis for a Finance Intern.

As an Accounting/Finance Intern, you will be a key member of the accounting team. You will be responsible for assisting in the quarterly financial reporting process and special accounting projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly financial close tasks.
• Ensure proper cut-off for revenue, assets, liabilities, and expenses.
• Prepare and review ledger journal entries.
• Maintain general ledger and other financial data.
• Analyze financial data to assess accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and interpret financial reports for management.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Work with cross-functional organizations to accomplish tasks and special projects.
• Backup other department personnel as needed, in particular during planned and unplanned absences.
• Actual duties may vary based on department assignment within Finance

Education & Skills requirement:

• College undergraduate or graduate student majoring in accounting or related field
• Completion of introductory level accounting and finance course
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
