Accounting Generalist

Job Description

Global Data Systems has an immediate opening for an Accounting Generalist. The ideal candidate will have one or two years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping and will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties to support our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate record of new circuit vendors and maintain data integrity
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain required documentation
• Review and process customer invoicing in a timely manner
• Contact vendors when necessary for documentation or clarification
• Assist with receptionist cover and duties as needed
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 1- 2 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
