Join Boingo Wireless as an Accounting Intern! Turn your knowledge of accounting principles to real-world application in monthly accounting close responsibilities. Learn how to use a world-renowned cloud-based accounting system. We are kicking off system implementation projects related to revenue recognition and indirect taxes. Work closely with the project team leads to identify what it takes to implement a system, gather and perform data analysis, develop a workflow process, troubleshoot, and ultimately help to take a system live.  We are looking for an individual who will be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours a week with the possibility of increasing as their schedule allows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
• Assist with compiling and sorting invoices and checks.
• Place checks in envelopes and mail out.
• Support accounting personnel.
• Work with adding machines, calculators and databases
• Match invoices to work orders.
• Ad-hoc assignments and special projects designated.

Requirements

• Must have completed introductory level Accounting courses and in process with intermediate level Accounting courses
• Accounting GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
