Accounting Intern

The Accounting intern position will assist the Senior Business Analyst and the Americas Finance Controls team to support the business, as well as support the finance accounting function across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Operates closely with the Americas Finance Controls team to support the business.
• Assist with reconciling accounts.
• Assist with preparing accounting reports.
• Assist with month-end intercompany manual journal entry preparation and posting.
• Data entry / Data entry clean-up.
• Assist with creating documentation for existing and new accounting / financial processes.
• Perform research.
• Assist with special projects.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in college at the junior level or higher
• Basic Accounting / Finance understanding.
• Advance experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with Power BI and Power Queries.
• Macro experience.
• Be able to perform VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
• Analytical and logical skills, capable of using sound logic in problem solving.
• Strong organization and time management.
• The ability to work independently at times.
• Multi-tasker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibits a good attitude and follows instructions from others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and provide proactive follow-up.
