Cortica is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its growing team!
In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance team and will have significant responsibility for the organization’s Accounting, General Ledger, and Month-End Close processes and procedures. What will you do?
- Hire, train and motivate accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
- Evaluate, develop and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
- Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
- Assist other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Keep informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.

- In this role you must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
We’d love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field may be preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
- Proficiency with computers, especially general ledger software and MS Office.
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data

The base pay range for this opening is $130,000 to $150,000. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
