Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including revenue recognition, commission calculation, commission reconciliation, payment processing reporting, payment processing reconciliation, and expert level knowledge of NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing a team of accountants.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• 2+ years of experience in a management role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft business applications.

• CPA (eligible) or equivalent certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of NetSuite.
• Hands-on, technical experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition under US GAAP.
• Experience with payment processing products or sales commission calculations.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
• Oversee the revenue recognition process for our core subscription and payment processing products.
• Prepare and reconcile the monthly/quarterly commission calculations.
• Perform recurring and ad-hoc reporting for payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement best practices for the accounting ERP system (NetSuite).
• Develop and maintain financial controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Manage the month-end close process.
• Manage the year-end audit process.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
