Accounting Manager

Two Six Technologies is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager of Corporate Accounting with a CPA and experience working at a public CPA firm responsible for tax preparation. 

Responsibilities Include:

• General Ledger and month-end close process to include monthly reconciliations, fixed asset, prepaid schedule, accrued expenses, deferred rent, and payroll liability.
• Serve as an Lead liaison & internal SME for tax and audit matters
• Maintain a tax filing schedule for all tax filings including corporate income returns, BPOL, Sales & Use, 401k 5500’s, GSA schedule and foreign tax filings.
• Responsible for government filings & accounting policies
• Lead Accounts Payable team and review AP Vouchers ensuring line items are charged to the correct account and adhering to company policy.
• Manage and review vendor payments including bank transactions, credit card , and ACH payments.
• Support company wide implementation of Purchasing systems and processes that meet government compliance requirements.
• Review and approve internal purchase orders including direct and indirect purchases.

Basic Qualifications:

• Six (6) years in total accounting and/or public accounting/corporate tax experience
• CPA required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Two-Four (2-4) years in corporate return tax prep
• Passionate and successful in mentoring and training others including cross-departmental training.

Nice To Have Qualifications:

• BPOL tax prep strongly desired
• Working knowledge of accounting software, such as Unanet or Deltek is preferred.
• Expert in Microsoft Office
• Management experience preferred
