What will I do?

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and job accounting. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

  • Implement accruals and adjustments as necessary to reflect accurate financial positions.
  • Work collaboratively with department heads to capture any unrecorded liabilities or revenues.
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded before the close of the accounting periods.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

Account Reconciliations:

  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Supervise the reconciliation process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled regularly and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of financial information.

Inventory and Fixed Asset Accounting:

  • Oversee the inventory accounting process, including valuation and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
  • Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including tracking, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with capitalization policies.

Job Accounting:

  • Monitor and manage job accounting activities, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to projects.
  • Oversee the completion of job costing activities, ensuring all jobs are closed timely.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track and analyze project financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
  • Proven experience 5+ years in accounting roles with a focus on full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and job accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Business Central, a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Telecom industry experience is preferred, but not required.
