Accounting Manager

Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking an Accounting Manager

Where you’ll be working: Knoxville

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and manage up to 20 different client’s billings and related payables
• Interact with Account Service teams to facilitate client billing
• Monitor internal processes to verify open orders and pending payables
• Prepare ad hoc reports for Account Service teams and clients
• Work with Director of Accounting on month close and client income reporting
• Manage a team of 2-3 staff accountants

What you bring

• 5 + years’ experience in an Accounting or a Finance role
• Advanced level skills in Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
• Desire to mentor accounting staff
• Ability to identify issues and develop / implement effective solutions
• Experience in cultivating strong relationships across departments to support collaboration with the accounting team
• Mindset geared toward operational optimization and process improvements
• Prior experience with NetSuite ERP preferred 
• Experience working in a Mac environment, including Google Suite and Adobe preferred
• Prior experience in an advertising, marketing, media, or startup environment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
