How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

As the Manager of Accounting you are responsible for overseeing all financial transactions for the company including accounting, audit, and cash management. The Manager of Accounting is also responsible for producing the company financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensures a system of checks and balances are place and maintained to insure adherence to policies and procedures, effective controls, and accurate data consolidation. The position will include the management and supervision for the team of accountants.

What you'll do:

  • Leadership: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team's level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
  • Accounting: Manage monthly close process, including account analysis, account reconciliation, review and approve journal entries, preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports and departmental reports. Manage the general ledger process to ensure efficiency and accuracy of posting and activities. Manage the commission and rebate calculation process. Manage the quarterly consignment audit process. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Compliance: Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting and regulatory requirements including facilitating state and federal tax filings and Medicare cost report filings. Prepare and provide support and schedules as required for annual year- end audit, tax filings and other reviews as required.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance experience required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a leadership role managing direct reports.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with an ERP system, such as SAP.

  • Time Management: Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take initiative to research and resolve questions/issues/concerns in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and a willingness to take on new responsibilities. Must be detail oriented, accurate, and highly organized.
  • Analytical Thinking: Demonstrates the ability to successfully gather and evaluate pertinent information to draw conclusions and identify potential trends
