Salary range: $80,000-$115,000 base salary

BlueConic is an international start-up that’s growing fast in search of an enthusiastic, detail-driven CPA to help manage the day-to-day accounting activities and bring additional rigor to our finance & accounting processes. In this role, you will:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Manage our NetSuite instance and ongoing maintenance, including customization, configuration, and integrations with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including documentation and implementation of internal controls, to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Participate in financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support the Controller and CFO in preparing financial reports for management and external stakeholders, including investors and auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and legal, to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Stay up to date with changes in GAAP and other accounting standards, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting or similar role, with a focus on financial reporting and financial planning and analysis.
  • Expertise in NetSuite or similar accounting software, including experience with customizations, configurations, integrations, and automations.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting requirements, and financial planning and analysis best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience working in a SaaS company or with SaaS clients.
  • Knowledge of private equity and venture capital funding.
  • Worked with companies/clients with global operations.
