Accounting Manager

PetroApp, a dynamic SaaS company, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Manager to join our finance team. As an Account Manager at PetroApp, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the financial health of the organization.

You will play a vital role in preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. If you have a strong accounting background and are passionate about contributing to a growing organization, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform month-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure all receipts, invoices and payment are accurately captured
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting regulations.
• Assist with year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or ICAN certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience in SaaS, Telecoms or oil and gas sector.
