Description

Accounting Manager

This position is responsible for supporting firmwide financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a mid-size law firm with opportunities for growth and development. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with several offices across our multi-state organization. The position will report to the Firm Administrator.

 

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

  • Firmwide budgeting
  • Ensure invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable are recorded correctly and timely
  • Cost control and expense management
  • Bi-Weekly Payroll
  • Responsible for reporting to various state agencies for workman's comp, etc. for all offices across the firm
  • Cash management 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • At least six years of accounting experience 
  • Initiative in data analysis involves identifying problems or questions that can be addressed with data and developing a structured approach to solving them
  • Strong understanding and full competency working in QuickBooks online
  • Ability to adapt to new software and technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, analyze, organize, attend to detail, and follow through
  • Commitment to excellent client service
