Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Verus Researchis seeking a highly skilled and motivatedAccounting Managerto oversee and enhance our financial operations in the dynamic and regulated Department of Defense (DoD) aerospace contracting environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise-level accounting and government contracting regulations, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex financial systems. This posting is for work in the Albuquerque, NM, area. The ideal candidate will have led the formulation of audit responses, including for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, supported other external financial audits, and a proven track record of resolving findings with enduring solutions. TheAccounting Managerwill have experience in all financial accounting functions, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, internal controls, and ensuring compliance with DoD financial regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
