About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to help support the continued expansion of our business as we prepare for IPO. You will be involved in various aspects of the core Accounting function at Rokt, with a focus on the US and UK markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations for the US and UK markets alongside a staff and senior accountant
• Review the monthly / quarterly / annual financial close processes for the US and UK markets including analytical review to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
• Monitor, analyze and create financial reports based on data analysis in order to assist with the close processes
• Liaise with external auditors and other 3rd party advisors to Rokt on an as needed basis, including working with our tax advisors on US and UK compliance (i.e. tax returns, provisions, etc.)
• Oversee the debtors/collections process globally
• Assess current practices, policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessary
• Identify opportunities and implement change for automation and process optimization, working cross functionally with various teams as needed
• Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support Rokt’s IPO readiness including the migration from IFRS to US GAAP reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting experience (Big 4 strongly preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP required, and also of IFRS preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of Workday or similar ERP preferred
• Experience mentoring and/or leading a team of staff/senior accountants
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven and changing environment with minimal daily oversight
