Job Description
- Working closely with each of the members of the accounting department to define, develop and continually update and distribute system-generated reports that communicate the "financial health" of Assets, Intercompany, accruals and other month end duties.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, manage and continually measure a process for ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Review weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually the accuracy of the financial data.
- Work with the Manager of Compliance to help develop, implement, manage and continually measure a process for ensuring the Country's efficient compliance with accounting regulations and company policies and reporting requirements.
- Develop, implement, manage and continually measure a process for ensuring data flow with Corp monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Month End TB Detail, 10K Reporting, Tax Reporting, and Governmental Reporting
- Participate in process improvement projects, and support other management directives as prescribed
- Ensure that each direct report is acutely aware of their role in delivering segment strategy, and always mindful of their performance vis-a-vis expectations
Qualifications / Skills
- Minimum 5 years financial experience; MFG experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial principles
- Working knowledge of IT; ability to recommend changes and upgrades to meet needs of the business.
- Strong managerial presence that reflects a "hand-on" participative, pro-active operating style requiring a high energy level and tolerance to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication; strong planning and organization skills
