Simpplr is looking for a motivated, analytical, organized, inquisitive, and creative individual who can operate with an international mindset. The candidate will have exposure across multiple functions within the organization as Simpplr continues to scale in growth.
Your Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, revenue recognition, cash payments/receipts, fixed assets, general ledger, etc.
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation, and report preparation
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual consolidated financial reports
- Monitor and analyze accounting data
- Coordinate and manage the Company’s financial audits and tax returns
- Research accounting issues for compliance with US GAAP
- Participate in the development, implementation and documentation of policies and procedures
- Hire, train and supervise accounting staff
- Accounting/Finance Degree is a MUST
- 5-8 years accounting/finance experience in a SaaS company
- In depth knowledge of ASC-606 and US GAAP and SaaS metrics
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Netsuite, Salesforce, Expensify, Bill.com.
- Experience in a multi-entity start-up environment and ability to prioritize and handle change in a fast-paced growing company
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with an adaptive, empathetic, collaborative and positive mindset
- Team player, critical thinker and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to detail
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $116,800 - $160,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
