Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Advise and partner with cross functional leadership teams to understand and document Nike account directives. Asses the accounting implications of new supply chain strategies, and other marketplace driven initiatives that have supply chain implications (e.g. O2O, store-in-store, dropship, etc). Partner with FP&A to review financial models used for various approvals required for supply chain initiates. Actively build relationships with Supply Chain leadership to ensure that Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Supply Chain Controlling is considered a key stakeholder in decisions and strategies. Act as the process owner for all Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Supply Chain related contracts. Work cross functionally to provide metrics, measures, and recommendations for WMS to SAP imbalances and potential gaps/inefficiencies in existing operational processes. Identify, implement, and evaluate operational and financial controls over inventory and supply chain processes as part of NIKE's SOX processes. Implement and assess the impact of global policies within Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) that have been established by the Global Controlling teams. Be a leader within the larger NIKE Finance and Controlling Organization to develop, embrace, and deliver best practices. Work closely with territories teams located in Asia Pacific and Latin America and be their resource and subject matter expert on supply chain related project implementation.
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or an accounting-related occupation. Experience must include:
- SAP or other similar ERPs;
- Warehouse Management System (WMS);
- SAP BPC;
- SOX/CFR;
- USGAAP and/or IFRS knowledge;
- End-to-End supply chain flow;
- Accounting areas, including inventory/COGS, leases and contractual obligations;
- Reviewing complex supply chain contracts;
- Financial Modeling; and
- Project Management.
