Accounting Manager

Jim Koons Automotive Companies is seeking an Accounting Manager for our Baltimore Ford location. We have

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 40 hr. work week, occasional weekend at month end may be required.

The candidate for this role will have minimum two years accounting/dealership experience, have strong accounting skills, the ability to reconcile and post statements and accounts, and has the prior experience managing a small staff.

What you will be doing as an Accounting Manager:
 Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
 Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures
 Reconciles select accounts monthly
 Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op
advertising accounts are current and accurate
 Prepares sales commission/chargeback detail reports
 Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan

What we are looking for:
 Two or more years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership.
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong attention to detail
 Thorough understanding of automotive accounting practices
