Accounting Manager (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are actively seeking a Manager of Accounting to join our Investor Communication Solutions ("ICS") segment accounting team and reporting into the ICS US Controller. This role supports the accounting and financial reporting for our Issuer and Mutual Fund Communications businesses.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Leadership:

• Key Accounting Contact for the ICS FP&A Leads
• Ensure the ICS Accounting and FP&A organizations are well connected
• Drive visibility and provide the right accounting support for transactions or activities that require significant judgments and estimates

Process Improvement:

• Lead, drive and complete the transition of day-to-day transactional accounting activities into Corporate Shared Services and India Finance teams
• Identify areas of inefficiency, implement standardized accounting processes, leverage accounting systems to automate processes, and work with the Technical Accounting team to assess and potentially evolve our corporate accounting policies to operationalize efficient accounting activities while remaining in compliance with GAAP
• Ensure the team focuses on areas of judgments and estimates (accounts receivable, client SLAs, revenue recognition, restructurings, impairments, contingencies, etc.)

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

• Ensure a strong internal control environment exists and handle compliance with the BR Sarbanes-Oxley program
• Identify controls for process improvement and resolve accordingly (re-engineer, automate, simplify, standardize)

Accounting Close:

• Coordinate and lead the accounting close across respective responsibilities for ICS segment, with appropriate focus on the balance sheet and areas where significant judgments and estimates are needed/used for accounting purposes
• Demonstrate ownership and command of details and explanations for the respective responsibilities within the ICS U.S. balance sheet
• Work with internal and external auditors #LI-PS1
