It is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing hands-on accounting work with leadership responsibilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the full month-end close process, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and leading close meetings across AP, AR, Payroll, and Tax teams
  • Prepare journal entries, GL reconciliations, foreign currency revaluations, and support consolidation processes
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting, including regional flux analysis and detailed reporting packages for leadership
  • Drive process optimization by partnering with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and establish clear accountability
  • Support annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and timely responses to auditor requests
  • Record payroll journal entries and collaborate with Payroll to analyze variances in compensation and benefits
  • Assist in technical accounting projects, drafting memos, and formalizing SOPs for revenue recognition, inventory management, and other key cycles to ensure US GAAP compliance
  • Requirements:

    • University degree or College diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with 1+ years of people management experience
    • CPA license required and thorough knowledge of US GAAP
    • Strong ability to manage multi-entity, multi-national accounting complexities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations
    • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, with excellent management, team-building, business partnering, and prioritization skills
    • Experience in national or multi-national public accounting firms, public companies, and ERP systems (NetSuite, FloQast, or equivalents) is highly desirable
    • Working knowledge of IFRS is a plus
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range: $111,900 – $150,000 USD
      • Employer-paid healthcare package
      • Generous time off and wellness resources to recharge
      • Work-from-home stipend
      • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
      • Inclusive, collaborative, and diverse work culture
      • Additional perks to support mobility and daily work-life balance
