About the Role

Our broadcasters are the backbone to the Twitch community. Your primary role is to help scale our monetization efforts and ensure accounting requirements are met for any newly launched product. We are looking for someone to lead the new product integration (NPI) efforts in Accounting by standardizing processes creating clear lines of communication and implementing best practices. You will report to the Senior Manager of RevPay Accounting.

This is a remote role but you will need to travel to our San Francisco office 1-2 weeks per year for planning meetings.

You Will:

• Manage new product integration related to creator earnings by working with product and engineering teams to communicate and test accounting requirements.

• Be the leader of the NPI process for all of Controllership and ensure all impacted parties are informed of upcoming integrations

• Validate new products through querying integration tables and working with Engineering to understand data flows and structure

• Perform operating procedures internal controls and workflows to increase the efficiency of new lines of business following SOX controls.

• Take on ad-hoc requests and own projects in addition to your daily responsibilities.

You Have:

• 6+ years of accounting experience at a quickly evolving company.

• Accurate detailed and a love for large datasets.

• Experience writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation

• Technical project management experience

• US GAAP and SOX controls expertise and ability to operationalize accounting guidance into policy.

• Curious and enthusiastic - not afraid to ask probing questions and challenge existing processes to improve processes and own projects and to automate manual workflows.

• Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
