The Accounting Manager, PMO will work on the company's SOX program, along with special projects such as system implementations, acquisitions, process re-engineering , partnering with DO teams to develop solutions to challenging issues. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has relevant prior experience (such as Audit &/or SOX) and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Director of Accounting, PMO and your work will have an impact on the future success of this rapidly growing company.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Be part of the team, collaborating with the company to enhance the internal control environment and SOX compliance
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Accounting PMO and control owners on the design of internal controls and maintain the risk and control matrix within AuditBoard
- Coordinate with controls owners, external auditors and track audit / control request status
- Perform end to end process and/or system walkthroughs and build / maintain flows in flowchart format
- Where needed, prepare control training materials to educate those responsible for performing control activities
- As needed, review policies and/or provide recommendations to policy owners to enhance them
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders as they address control deficiencies or make significant process changes (e.g. implementation of new systems)
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with process owners and stakeholders in various departments to increase awareness of the importance of risk and controls
- Support ad hoc projects as deemed necessary given business initiatives and Accounting team needs
What We'll Expect From You:
Experience:
- 5-8 years or more of relevant experience - prior public accounting (Big 4) experience a plus, external or internal audit experience a plus
- Experience with leading, planning, scoping, and reporting for a full year SOX program in current or previous roles
- Experience with project management a plus
- Experience working with High Growth or Technology companies preferred
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
- Professional certification such as CPA or CIA preferred
- Experienced user of software such as G Suite (docs, sheets and slides), Alteryx, Tableau, PowerPoint, G-Suite, NetSuite, Coupa, AuditBoard, and Visio or Lucid Charts
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, curiosity to learn, and displays high energy level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and to remain calm under pressure
- Strong collaboration skills to work with other teams on solutions and project management activities
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and clearly communicate status
- High degree of attention to detail

- We reward our employees . The base salary range for this position is between $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
