Accounting Manager, Revenue

Role Responsibilities: 

• Manage the revenue accounting close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Review contracts and analyze revenue recognition arrangements to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and related U.S. GAAP pronouncements
• Provide decision support on complex revenue transactions and new product launches
• Oversee the preparation and review of revenue related journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Provide audit support for control and substantive testing
• Perform various ad-hoc projects as needed

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition principles, with a mix of Big 4 accounting firm and private/publicly traded companies preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures and systems
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Maxio, Salesforce preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
