Job Description

Essential Duties:

  • Assist HR in processing of weekly payroll and maintaining payroll tracking files.
  • Process stage billings and other customer invoices.
  • Maintain records related to commissions, including accruals and payments.
  • Participate in month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and other account analysis.
  • Use computer and computer software to input, retrieve, or display accounting information.
  • Handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and effectively interface with others inside and outside the company. Refers problems and/or questions to the Division Controller.
  • Possess creativity/adaptability to successfully manage responsibilities to effectively address changing business conditions and to achieve objectives.
  • Special reports and projects, other tasks, administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Education:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, accounting major or related field preferred.


Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years in Accounting or Manufacturing Accounting preferred.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Accounting, GAAP Rules, Reporting Skills, and General Math Skills.
  • Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, and Attention to Detail.
  • Confidentiality, PC Proficiency, Productivity, and good Verbal Communication.


Working Conditions and Hazards:

  • Work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations.
  • Work requires simple, easy muscular movements.
  • Normal office conditions.
  • From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions.
