ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Job Summary
This role will be instrumental in launching the Finance & Accounting (F&A) organization's Digital (DX) initiatives by developing and deploying DX solutions such as RPA, MS Power Platforms, Alteryx and Domo analytics. This role will also guide the F&A organization higher along its maturity curve by guiding colleagues through their development on how to utilize digital tools.
Responsibilities:
F&A's Key Subject Matter Expert (SME) on digital tools such as RPA, MS Power Platforms, Alteryx and Domo.
Build RPA (Ui Path, MS Power Platforms) applications and complex Domo and Alteryx analytics applications. Role will be supported by the central COE.
Teach and guide select individuals from the core F&A organization on how to build and deploy solutions using digital tools like RPA, Domo, Alteryz, MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate, etc.
Develop strategic dashboards for Finance and the business focused on key items such as: Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Assets, Payroll, etc.
Lead initiatives that result in solutions that further drive efficiencies and effectiveness of the F&A organization. This includes improving reporting to executive management, KPI reporting, Accounting Close automation and more.
Role will liaise with IT to ensure leading practices are followed and/or developed as well as proper data management and solutions maintenance are well managed.
By staying in tune with F&A needs, internal IT and external contacts, this role will continually evaluate the digital landscape and make recommendations of tools and solutions that accelerate the F&A Finance Transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree with specialization in Accounting and/or Finance (technology, mathematics or business degrees will be considered)
5-8 years hands-on experience in financial or data analysis including ETL, RPA and Domo (or similar) BI tools.
5-8 years leading digital exchange projects including project management and change management experience
Working knowledge of SQL principles and ability to build and execute queries to create datasets
Strong understanding of ERP, Consolidations and Reporting Systems as well as system concepts of legacy systems common to industrial type companies
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders, and at all levels of the company
Knowledge of General Ledger Accounting principles and ability to perform financial analyses
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with complex software systems and data in an enterprise environment
Alteryx
MS Power Platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate)
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
Knowledge of IFRS
CPA and/or MBA a plus
Working knowledge of R and/or Python a plus

Salary Range: $55,700-$69,700 USD
