Finance & Accounting Department:

The Finance and Accounting Department mission is to drive achievement of the company’s financial goals and corporate strategic initiatives by providing insights and headlights into the financial and operational well-being of the company. In addition, the Department is responsible for maintaining control of the Company’s financial operations and compliance.

The Career Opportunity:

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for provisioning or deprovisioning all accounts in Zuora and will review billing subscriptions for accuracy. The Accounting Specialist will partner cross-functionally to resolve issues promptly and will participate in special projects as needed. 

The position is based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in office).

Areas of Accountability:

• Review billing subscriptions for accuracy and process the provisioning or deprovisioning for each subscription
• Review and process refund requests promptly and in accordance with company procedure and policy
• Process customer cancellation agreements
• Work across departments to research and promptly resolve AR disputes by addressing non-standard, complex issues submitted by both customers and internal stakeholders
• Participate in special projects, as needed

Competencies for Success: 

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience with billing system in a fast-paced environment (tech company, a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel (Pivots, Vlookups)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in high growth, fast-paced environments through organic initiatives or acquisitions a plus
• Experience in a small company or mid-size company preferred
• Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and work in a team oriented environment
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Concur or similar software preferred
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

At Integrated Practice Solutions, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $49,450-$102,700 for this position.
