Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) | Hybrid

Cat5 Commerce is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) to join our growing team in Chesterfield. It doesn't get much better than this! This is a full-time, hybrid position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., set in a fun and friendly atmosphere, providing excellent benefits and ample opportunities to both use and expand your professional skill set!

Looking for the perfect environment to kick start your career or take your Accounting experience to the next level in the exciting Ecommerce realm? We're currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join us in our mission.

The ideal candidate brings an optimistic and helpful approach to each day. You're not one to just go through the motions. You have a keen eye for detail, don't shy away from tackling problem areas, and can spot opportunities for process improvement. Ability to successfully manage a high volume workload without sacrificing accuracy, excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills are essential to supporting our rapidly growing business.

Duties

• Match invoices to purchase orders and enter invoices for payment
• Process weekly accounts payable checks
• Review, correct as necessary, and process EDI invoices
• Create invoices for those customers on credit
• Process refund checks
• Daily posting of credit card deposits
• Download and analyze credit card and PayPal Reports
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Process and decision chargeback transactions
• Review and process sales tax filings and payments

Qualifications

• Accounts payable invoice matching and invoice entry experience
• Accounts receivable (billing) experience
• Account reconciliation experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel)

Major Pluses

• Excellent data entry skills
• EDI invoice processing experience
• Experience downloading and analyzing credit card and Paypal reports
• Acumatica experience
• Accounting experience in a high volume environment
