Accounting Specialist | Hybrid

Cat5 Commerce is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) to join our growing team in Chesterfield. It doesn't get much better than this! This is a full-time position, featuring a hybrid schedule upon completion of our fully onsite training period. Looking for the perfect environment to broaden your horizons, take your Accounting experience to the next level in the exciting Ecommerce realm? We're currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join us in our mission. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in the field or someone currently working in an AP/AR role, looking to expand their skill set via entering the ecommerce/retail industry.

The ideal candidate brings an optimistic and helpful approach to each day. You're not one to just go through the motions. You have a keen eye for detail, don't shy away from tackling problem areas, and can spot opportunities for process improvement. Ability to successfully manage a high volume workload without sacrificing accuracy, excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills are essential to supporting our rapidly growing business.

Duties

• Match invoices to purchase orders and enter invoices for payment
• Process weekly accounts payable checks, ACH, and credit card payments
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Review, correct as necessary, and process EDI invoices
• Process refund checks
• Post customer payments
• Download and analyze credit card and PayPal Reports
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience performing comparable AP/AR duties
• Accounts payable invoice matching and invoice entry experience
• Accounts receivable (cash application) experience
• Account reconciliation experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel)

Major Pluses

• Excellent data entry skills
• EDI invoice processing experience
• Experience downloading and analyzing credit card and Paypal reports
• Acumatica experience
• Accounting experience in a high volume environment
