Oldcastle APG, Inc.'s 2025 Summer Internship Program is designed to provide a professional environment for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience at a global industry-leading manufacturer in the architectural products industry. Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GL Accounting Summer Intern to join our Shared Services Department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Help with the preparation of department Key Performance Indicators and reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the analysis of financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for accounting processes.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Gain practical experience in general ledger accounting.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
