Primary Responsibilities: Â

Oversee the team’s financial close process while providing regular status updates, ensuring timely task completion, and collaboration with leadership to address challenges and progress.

Prepare and deliver monthly presentations highlighting key revenue trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.

Think creatively and proactively to drive innovation and develop solutions to improve processes.

Tackle unusual or unexpected issues with strategic and forward-thinking approaches.

Lead, coach, and oversee senior and staff level accounting team members. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Develop and refine new analytical approaches to supporting evolving team and business needs.

Act as the point of contact with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Cycle Management, Payor Engagement, and Revenue Integrity to streamline processes and resolve issues.

Manage and organize the team to gather and prepare documentation required for external financial audits.

Partner with the FP&A team to help interpret monthly financial results and to ensure accurate forecasting of revenue.
Compensation: Â $95,000 - $110,000/annually
Location: Remote
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related subject; CPA or MBA preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (experience in healthcare is a plus)

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams effectively in a high-growth and remote environment.

Proficient working with large, complex data sets and utilizing tools like Excel and PowerBi.

Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASC 606.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire for professional growth.

Exceptional project management skills to meet deadlines.

Adaptability, responsiveness to change, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
