Accounting Supervisor will directly report to:
Accounting Manager

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The primary responsibility of the Finance Supervisor is the Company’s financial reporting
activities, general accounting, ledger maintenance, timely and accurate submission of monthly
account reconciliations.

TASKS:

• Prepare and record transactions of the Company in the general ledger and ensure completeness thereof prior to month-end closing
• Assist in the timely preparation and submission of all account reconciliations (SL-GL) and schedules to support the financial reports
• Assist and monitor fixed asset register and ensure timely reconciliation to general ledger
• Provide inputs for profit and loss analysis
• Assist in actual vs. budget analysis and financial statement preparation
• Monitor cash advances to ensure timely liquidation and avoid accumulation of unliquidated advances
• Review and approve bills, expense reports, and reimbursements.
• Review and approve billings to clients.
• Initiate licenses and permits application/registration for business operation (BIR, SEC, Local)
• Ensure all statutory reports and returns are filed correctly and on a timely manner
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure all statutory reports are filed correctly and on a timely manner
• Monitor payment schedules for taxes (BIR and local taxes) and other governmental mandated remittances (SSS, Pag-ibig/HDMF, Philhealth) to ensure payments are made on due dates
• Maintain the general ledger – codes, cost center and mapping
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting or Finance (preferably CPA but not required)
• At least five (5) years or above work experience in similar role (financial reporting/general accounting)
• Knowledgeable in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and Basic Taxation
• Analytical, organized, team player and can work with minimum supervision
• Keen into details and possesses dynamic personality
• High proficiency in English both written and verbal
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and accounting/reporting software
