Records, reports and controls accounting transactions generated by the insurance policies that we administer on behalf of our clients. Possesses strong communication skills to communicate with all types of employees within the organization. Exercises sound judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.

• Month end duties include accrual entries, preparing, reviewing, balancing, and delivering accurate and timely reporting to our clients
• Prepare and review bank and suspense reconciliations
• Trading and pricing processes with fund companies for variable life and annuity products
• Assisting with providing audit documentation for internal and external audits
• Report on Aging of items for suspense and bank Service Level Agreements
• Continuously looks for process improvement and efficiencies related to duties listed above
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
• Strong communication skills to interact within the organization at all levels
• Strong Excel Skills
• Aptitude for learning and working with multiple systems
• Strong Customer Service skills to satisfy internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Series 6 licensed or the ability to quickly become licensed
