Accounting & Tax Analyst

Responsible for accurately and timely preparing all tax compliance for the company and the corresponding journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and/or cash management accounting.  Ensures necessary journals are prepared within timelines.  Follow up to ensure balance sheet reconciling items and related subledger source system variances are resolved.  Works diligently to ensure all compliance reports on time and manner.  This position provides assurance of accuracy and compliance with local (indirect and direct) taxes to avoid paid penalties.

Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:

• Bachelor of Accounting,
• 3+ years or more of relevant experience in similar functions in tax and accounting as follow:
• Experience with local regulations.
• Experience with direct and indirect taxes, including the preparation of monthly, annual returns, review of legal and tax requirements in the country.
• Experience and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, especially those related to taxes and inventories and cost of sales.
• Experience with /employee related taxes.
• Experience in reviewing requests, especially in the accounting support of invoices and payments.
• Good experience using Microsoft Excel for the hands-on data analyst. 
• English: intermediate, who understands and responds to emails in English.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for general accounting in one or more accounting systems.
• Prepare a high-volume of journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Provide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Support inter-company transactions in Oracle Advanced Global Intercompany System as needed.
• Responsible for month-­end closing activities including researching and analyzing issues, B/S reconciliations, booking the appropriate journal entries and performing the corresponding financial controls.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all month-end closing activities outlines below.
• Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.
• Respond to audit questions and requests from government entities, internal and external auditors
• Prepared the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for legal local purposes (tax, labor and legal). As well as prepare and release procedures at government agencies.
• Support in the compliance with local regulations.
• Register and control of foreign trade transactions and transactions with related parties (Prepare and review the files and tax/accounting back up).
• Comply with local tax regulation (indirect and direct taxes) including review HR labor regulation (taxes) and prepared all tax regulation.
