Accounting Technologist Analyst

Introduction
As an accounting technologist at IBM you’ll be a key player in all aspects of digital transformation within the unit including process simplification elimination and automation . You will make significant contributions towards high-productivity and strategic implementation of technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This job role specialty is focused on the delivery of multiple technology solutions that may include Web Based Automations On Demand Automation or Robotic Process Automations. Professionals in this specialty have the ability to translate business requirements to transform manual and repetitive work into a web based automation solution. Responsible for overseeing the installation configuration upgrade testing capacity planning performance tuning and debugging of issues to ensure they are performed according to standards for the applied technologies. Responsible for the design analysis and presentation of data. Applies consulting methodologies and demonstrates strong knowledge of their competency area. Responsibilities include evaluation of automation opportunities for a Digital Squad Leader creation and deployment of automation workflow and ongoing monitoring of automation effectiveness for continuous improvement. communication on the use and value of automation delivered is expected in order to drive a cohesive and effective automation strategy across the IBM

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– English Intermediate/Advanced
– Meaningful development experience in modern web frameworks
– Good object-oriented programming skills
– Comfortable multi-tasking and working as part of a global team
– Experience with working knowledge of Python Node.js REACT Angular Express.js DB2 NoSQL
– Experience with cloud-native application development with JavaScript HTML CSS SQL (MySQL PostgreSQL or DB2 etc) or NoSQL Databases (MongoDB Cloudant etc.)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
-Graduate in Systems
– Demonstrated Knowledge of the IBM Cloud offering and marketplace ecosystem
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in Web/Software development
– Experience building restful APIs and Web services
– Experience with automated testing for web platforms
– Fluent English
