Accounting Working Student

As an Accounting Working Student, you will:

• Lead our internal pre-accounting process and liaise with our external accountants and auditors

• Define, implement and execute accounting processes and best practices

• Work closely with our finance and legal team and learn from seasoned professionals

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements

• Support with the performance of financial audits

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in our banking and accounting software

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts

• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Provide administrative support as needed

• Have completely flexible working hours

• Fully remote possible

• German speaking

• Bachelor or master student in Business or related field

• Completion of at least 1 accounting course, further exposure to accounting is an advantage

• Prior experience in an accounting firm and/or knowledge of Datev is major advantage

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Available for at least 12 months
