Accounting/Finance Specialist

What you’ve done:

• Spent the last 2+ years working on accounting functions, like Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, purchase orders, invoicing to international entities, vendor payments and various ad-hoc reports.
• Communicated clearly, verbally and in writing, with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
• You are a self-starter, motivated individual passionate about learning.
• Worked with  Excel/Google Sheets (e.g. data sorting and manipulation, basic formulas,)
• Obtained, or have exposure to, a Finance, Accounting, or Business Degree background.
• Performed data entry and worked with General Ledger accounts.

What you will do:

• Prep and submit client invoices for hardware/software sales and support Sales and professional services departments.  
• Process vendor bills related to client invoicing, in accordance with the terms and conditions, agreed upon by Fivesky and stipulated in purchase orders between Fivesky and its clients and vendors.
• Work with accounting tools like Xero and Salesforce.
• Create and work with Excel/Google Sheets and produce ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Create Intercompany transactions (Salesforce) and follow up on A/R and take ownership of payment updates on A/P.

Would be awesome if you had:

• Knowledge of GL Accounting tool Xero
• Salesforce, Fieldglass, and/or Ariba 
• Knowledge of foreign currency 
• Were fluent in Mandarin or French 
• Multi-entity experience
