Job Description

Position Summary:

As the Accounting/HR Manager, you should be a highly motivated professional with a sense of urgency, and proven track record and be able to process and reconcile a wide variety of HR documents. This role will focus on employment documentation, employee files, processing payroll and answering HR and payroll related questions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and conduct day-to-day operations of all HR related functions (e.g., benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, payroll, associate relations programs).
  • Answer employee questions related to policies and procedures.
  • Respond to questions and concerns regarding payroll in timely manner.
  • Maintain and update payroll records.
  • Collect and verify employee timesheets and enter hours for payroll ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Assist with daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Support implementations, migration, or upgrades of financial systems.
  • Provide HR & payroll support for multiple companies.
  • Month and end-year process.
  • General ledger involvement.
  • Coordinate and assist with annual audits.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Meet financial accounting group objectives.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting/HR required.
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in fast-paced, results oriented environment.
  • Computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
