Reporting to the Finance Director, the Accounts Assistant will have experience in a similar role, have good excel skills. To be flexible within the finance team in respect of working together, often to tight deadlines. The candidate will need to have great attention to detail and be adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Company databases both excel and STI (star turn international) for all contractors
  • Liaising with overseas payroll agencies to ensure accuracy of data
  • Liaising with overseas managers to control starter and leaver processes
  • Logging, maintaining and filing timesheets or equivalent
  • Investigating queries
  • Creating company reports
  • Raising Recharge Invoices
  • Processing contractor expenses
  • Post daily banking
  • Cover for AP/ AR
  • Reconcile and process company credit cards transactions
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
  • Ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Methodical, organised and accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Ability to communicate successfully with stakeholders from different nationalities or countries.
