Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of North American accounting practices and experience with invoice management. Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB), SAP, and NetSuite (NS) is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Manage and process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
•  Oversee accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables.
•  Efficiently search for and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy in data entry and resolution of discrepancies.
• Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for transaction processing and reporting. Experience with QB, SAP, or NS is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software; experience with QB, SAP, or NS is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of North American accounting practices and standards.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
