Description
The role is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support a fast paced entrepreneurial organization that is passionate about food brands and seek to continually use optimal business tools and innovative ways to deliver for our clients and customers. Key Responsibilities

• Match PO's to Vendor invoices, validate amounts and resolve variances
• Timely and accurate input of vendor invoices to be paid
• Ensure bills are paid within agreed-upon terms
• Reconciling vendor statements to ensure past due invoices are paid
• Timely and accurate input of purchase orders in inventory system
• Timely and accurate input of vendor invoices to be paid
• Reconciling Purchase Orders to final invoices to ensure accuracy
• Answers vendor inquiries
• Obtain proper approval for vendor invoices
• Be able to communicate with other teams to resolve discrepancies

Requirements
Basic Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience working in the Finance team of a mid-sized business, preferably in the wholesale food and beverage or CPG industry
• 1-2 years of experience working on A/P
• High School degreed

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred
• Intermediate office software skilled, including Excel, Word QuickBooks Enterprise or other CRM and ERP system knowledge
• Demonstrate a good understanding of accrual accounting, payment terms, and inventory management
• Extreme attention to detail and willingness to take initiative and resolve issues proactively
• Able to collaborate with different teams and team members
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
