Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview:

• Build and maintain relationships with employees, internal customers, vendors, and others
• Reconcile vendor statements, and research/correct discrepancies
• Assign, review, and approve vendor invoices
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
• Answer queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made
• Review and transmit purchase request
• Assist with ad hoc projects
• Assist employees with system issues

• High School diploma, associate's degree in Accounting is preferred
• 1+ years of relevant experience with accounts payable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• A high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Concur/SAP experience
